Course Overview
The Tiling course provides comprehensive practical training in surface preparation, layout planning, tile cutting, adhesive application, wall/floor tile laying, and grout finishing for modern residential and commercial interiors.
Trainees work with ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, mosaic patterns, and natural marble slabs using professional tile cutters, laser levels, and notched trowels.
What You Will Learn
Tile Types & Materials: Characteristics of ceramic, porcelain, granite, marble, and mosaic tiles.
Surface Substrate Preparation: Floor screeding, wall levelling, waterproofing membranes, and primer coats.
Layout & Laser Alignment: Setting datum lines, grid layouts, tile spacer placement, and 45° diagonal patterns.
Cutting & Shaping: Manual tile cutters, wet saw cutting, corner miter joints, and pipe hole drilling.
Adhesive & Grouting: Thin-set mortar mixing, notched trowel technique, epoxy grouting, and expansion joint sealing.
